Dr. Sarah Rainey grew up on a farm in the Bennet/Palmyra Nebraska area. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Belmont University in Nashville Tennessee in 2009.

Dr. Rainey began her PT career in California where she spent 5 years in an outpatient setting as well as working on the sidelines during games for high school football as the medical professional. Dr. Rainey moved back to her home state of Nebraska about 7 years ago and worked as a Rehab Lead in the Lincoln community.

Dr. Rainey’s passion to help people and desire to become a physical therapist stemmed from her own athletic career and fascination of the human body. She is determined to provide the best outcomes and prides herself in knowing she can spend the time necessary with each and every patient.

Dr. Sarah Rainey decided in 2020 it was time to follow her dreams of having her own practice and opened her mobile practice serving the Ashland and Lincoln communities.

Dr. Rainey didn’t just want the typical PT clinic set-up either – she understands there is a big hole missing between rehab and return to sport/fitness. She wants to fill that gap and specializes in full body movements, patterns and assessments to get her clients where they need to be. The focus at Invigorating Motion Physical Therapy is on full body movement and function. Finding the weakest link, pain and/or dysfunction to optimize sports performance, RESTORE movement quality and REVIVE our quality of life/sport. Dr. Rainey has certifications in dry needling, SFMA, FMS, YBT, FCS and TPI.

Dr. Rainey is married to Jeremy and is the mother of two beautiful children, Kaiden and Anabella. She enjoys spending time doing outdoor activities with her family and friends.
