Physical Therapy

Specialized rehabilitation to treat and improve optimal function and mobility, reduce pain with activity and heal after injury. Therapy is provided to you in the comfort of your own home, office or gym to best meet your needs and overall goals.

Manual Therapy

Soft tissue, joint mobilization, stretching, range of motion techniques to improve mobility/function and reduce pain. This is a great way to improve joint health and mobility during flare ups, chronic pain or restriction in movement.

Sports Performance

Do you want to improve your strength, speed, vertical jump or overall sports performance? GREAT!  We want to help you get to your goals and we work with you to reach your highest potential.  We use specific screens that have been tested with professional athletes to identify areas of improvement, help prevent injury and help us to customize a program specific to you!  You will get a print out of your scores so we know where to improve – even better it will be able to show you where you fall with other athletes specific to your sport, age, gender and position.  Are you already working with a trainer or sports specific coach?  GREAT we work very closely with your coach/trainer and we can be the EXTRA 10 that gets you over that next milestone.

Movement Assessment

Have you ever felt like it is harder to squat, reach or rotate? Do you feel stiffness or pain in places you never used to? A movement assessment is designed to find these areas that are restricted and narrow down if these are coordination/motor control problems or joint/muscle restriction problems. These assessments are vital in maintaining the optimal state of our body – whether your goals is to play sports or just be able to do everyday activities. If our body is not moving “correctly” there will be a systematic breakdown.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a form of therapy in which fine needles are inserted into myofascial trigger points (painful knots in muscles), tendons, ligaments, or near nerves in order to stimulate a healing response in painful musculoskeletal conditions. Dry needling IS NOT acupuncture or Oriental Medicine; that is, it does not have the purpose of altering flow of energy (ā€œQiā€- pronounced chee) along traditional Chinese Meridians for the treatment of diseases. In fact, dry needling is a modern, science-based intervention for the treatment of pain and dysfunction in musculoskeletal conditions such as neck pain, shoulder impingement, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, headaches, knee pain, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, and low back pain.
